Who doesn’t want the appearance of long, perfectly smooth, shiny legs!? I know I do🙋🏼♀️
Well ladies, I think I have it figured out and I’m here to share!
Here are 5 steps to perfect, party-ready legs…
This really should be something you do weekly but if, like me, you’re a little lazy with your skin care routine, you probably don’t stick to this rule. But this first step is super important as it gets rid of all the dead skin and really smooths out your legs ready for the next steps! I find it works best to exfoliate my legs when they are dry, rather than in the shower.
2. Remove Hair
This is an obvious one… you can’t have the appearance of smooth, shiny legs when you’ve got fuzziness! However you do it, shave, wax, hair removal cream, just make sure it’s gone!👋🏼
Hydrated skin instantly looks healthier and shinier. Apparently you’re supposed to do this twice a day!? I must admit, I rarely manage once a day! But before a night out, after your shower, make sure to do this! It can even be a tinted moisturiser for an extra glow! Rub all over your upper and lower legs, adding a little extra to dry knees🤣
So, this is a recent discovery I’ve made… make-up for your legs! Genius🙌🏼 Now, I realise I may be a little behind with this beauty hack but if you’re reading this and you didn’t know this was a thing… now you do!
I was recently getting ready to go out and I came across my bronze L’Oréal True Match Highlight (which I’ve used like one time!) I decided to rub a little over my legs to give them a glow and I LOVED it! So I continued with the other leg and then added a line of Victoria Secret Luminous Perfecting Cream down my shin and above the knee.
If your legs are glowing and tan, they will instantly appear slimmer and more toned! Just check out the before and after ….
And when your taking pics and the flash light hits that highlighter, it’s going to be 🔥!!
Obviously, the L’Oréal bronzing highlighter I was using isn’t going to last very long as it is for the face! So I’ve researched a little and found that Vita Liberata Body Blur Instant HD Skin Finish and Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs both have great reviews, so I will be giving these a shot and I will let you know how I get on!
5. Heels, Heels, Heels 👠
Finally… pop on your highest heels and your perfect pins are ready to party the night away!
As I am new to the whole ‘make-up for your legs thing’, I’d love to know if you have any suggestions on products I should try out! Comment below👇🏼💕
